• The course provides an introduction to the skills and techniques required to be a performer in the entertainment industry. You will study plays, musical theatre, acting and dance and have a chance to improve your business skills. The production project is an important element that is performed at the end of your course. You will also have the opportunity to improve your key skills in the application of number, communication and information technology.
  • This is a broad based eighteen unit performance course with opportunities to study in a range of specialist areas. You will study core units which include workshop-based performance, major production units as well as historical studies and arts business. Specialist units are offered in dance, drama, singing, musical theatre and technical theatre. You will also have the opportunity to improve your key skills in application of number, communications and information technology.
  • This course is 18 units over 2 years. The core subjects are: The sound and music industry, listening skills for musicians, music and society, planning a music project and a major music performance project. Other topics include: composing, sound recording techniques, history and analysis of music, music from around the world, improvisation and twentieth century music. The course is assessment based and you will be required to complete a final major project. Key skills in application of number, communication and information technology are also included.
