Smokefree Homes and Cars CampaignSecondhand smoke puts people at increased risk of lung disease, meningitis and cot death. It results in over 300,000 GP visits, 9,500 hospital visits in the UK each year. Over 80% of cigarette smoke is invisible, and opening windows and doors does not remove its effects.
Great Yarmouth and Waveney Children's Centres are supporting the campaign and would like to encourage as many smokers to at the least stop smoking in their cars and homes as possible. If you would like to pick up an information Pack please visit:
- Trinity Children’s Centre, Martham
- Butterfly Children’s Centre, Beccles, Bungay and Halesworth
- Priory Children’s Centre, Great Yarmouth
- Seagulls Children’s Centre, Gorleston
